Call to Action – Share your Story

President-Elect Barack Obama has established a web site of change. Within this site he encourages all Americans to share their story of the American Dream.

So I call out to everyone who is against California’s proposition 8 and all other disciminatory laws and constitutional amendments to go to this site and tell your story of love and how you one day hope to enjoy the same chance at happiness.

Update:

I think everyone should go to the new President-Elect’s web site and share their story about how gays only want the same chance at happiness as everyone else.

Same-sex marriages will never be allowed the same rights as everyone else as long as the battles are taking place at the state level. The rights we deserve can only happen at the federal level.

As long as people think like this…

“And please spare me the ?anti-gay rights? garbage.? Opposing the complete mangling of the definition of marriage is not the same thing as opposing civil rights.? Sorry, but two men can?t get ?married? any more than I can call myself the mayor of the Milky Way.? Gay ?marriage? is simply a thing that cannot be.”

We will have to continue to fight.

Moving Forward

The Election is over and Barrack Obama is the President-Elect of the United States. I’m very excited and happy with that result and I’m looking forward to common sense returning to Washington.
