Lately the McCain campaign has been attempting to hammer home the idea that American’s should question Barack Obama’s character and judgment based on a tenuous at best association with William Ayers a former member of the Weather Underground, an organization that performed a series of bombings in the late 60′s in violent protest to the Vietnam war. McCain and Palin want American’s wondering whether or not Obama has the same radical views as those of the unrepentant but reformed domestic terrorist.
So, this begs the question. In a nation where the Justice system is supposed to be based on the principle that your innocent until proven guilty, is it fair, in a presidential election, to try and pin the radical beliefs of one man on a candidate simply because they happen to live in the same neighborhood and both worked on some of the same education boards?

Ever since Obama was elected Michele Bachmann (R- MN) has been pushing the boundaries of sanity and common sense to the breaking point. If she isn?t suggesting that FEMA is building hidden concentration camps around the US, or suggesting that the swine flu is some sort of Democratic crisis tool, she is claiming that Obama and the Democrats are plotting with ACORN, in order to usurp the will of the Real Republican loving American people.

Unfortunately, the census data has become very intricate, very personal (with) a lot of the questions that are asked.
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann ?is one of four at-risk Republican incumbents left to fend for themselves by a cash-strapped House campaign arm in the crucial final days of the campaign amid a tough political environment for the GOP,” the AP writes.
The Boston Globe…
National Republicans have yanked TV advertising for Minnesota GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann’s re-election bid after she suggested Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may have “anti-American” views and urged an investigation of unpatriotic lawmakers.
So let me get this straight congresswoman, you want every member of congress to be investigated on allegations that they could be “Anti-American”.
They tried this once before with McCarthyism and that worked out well didn’t it.
Something tells me congresswoman that your not going to get invited to the next Congressional BBQ.
