But I do think that if amendments are going to be added to a bill they should be amendments that are addressing the issue that is core to the bill. Adding a gun amendment to a credit card bill doesn't make sense. As for the gun amendment itself, I'm not totally against the idea of being able to carry a gun in some national parks, like Yosemite or Yellostone, but I don't think a person should be allowed to carry a gun on say Liberty Island.
